lyrics

So, define kight.
As a noun it's something a person is passionate about that requires dedication to support or achieve.
As a verb, it's a joyful struggle that fuels passion.
Example...

The story starts in a Seattle bar
Where a figure skater meets a rock star.
They fall in love and end up married.
Have a daughter and a son named Sean.

The rocker quits the band,
To provide for them.
The figure skater loved her family first,
But then became a nurse to help make ends meet.

This is my family.
It isn't perfect but it made a man of me.
My mom and dad could be,
Anything, but instead they chose to kight for me.

"So, it means taking care of someone you love?"
"Yeah, someone or something... but, there's a catch"

You gotta love yourself,
Before you can love anybody else;
And if you question well,
Time will tell.
I give my word you'll see,
(I give my word you'll see)
How good your life can be.
You gotta love yourself,
Before you love me.

It's my philosophy.
It isn't perfect but,
It is a part of me.
Our time is short you see.
Everything is nothing without parts of you and me.

This is my family.
It isn't perfect but it made a man of me.
My mom and dad could be,
Anything, but instead they chose to kight for me.

ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhh

You gotta love yourself,
Before you can love anybody else,
And if you question well,
Time will tell.
I give my word you'll see,
(I give my word you'll see)
How good your life can be.
You gotta love yourself,
Before you love me,

And that's the way that it has to,
Be.
